Juice Press Goes Dynamic
Juice Press changes menu boards frequently — prices shift, seasonal products rotate, and new items need testing. bitSHUTTLE® connected their Square POS to dynamic digital menu boards so one Square update keeps every screen aligned.

The challenge
"We can't be versatile and nimble in the way that we sometimes like to be." Juice Press manages product information in Square, but its digital menu boards were built from separate static design files. A simple price or ingredient change could take days. Because Square and the menu boards were not connected, Juice Press risked showing one price at checkout and another on screen — and product descriptions and ingredients could fall out of sync. Every change required updating Square, sending the change to a graphic designer, revising up to 30 menu board files, reviewing pricing, ingredients, layouts, and branding, sending incorrect files back for revisions, uploading approved files across locations, and confirming every menu board matched Square.
The solution
Reality introduced dynamic digital menu boards powered by bitSHUTTLE® and integrated directly with Juice Press's Square POS system. Square now acts as the source of truth for menu information. Prices, product names, descriptions, ingredients, and calorie information flow from Square into the bitSHUTTLE-powered menu board experience — replacing a multi-step design workflow with a single update path.
Deployment
Reality deployed dynamic digital menu boards across Juice Press locations, sourcing commercial display hardware suited to high-traffic restaurant environments. Reality Operatives imaged, configured, and installed screens on a coordinated schedule so menu boards went live store-ready and connected to the bitSHUTTLE network.
Integration
bitSHUTTLE's Square POS integration connects Juice Press's customer-facing menu boards to the operational data already managed in Square. Pricing, product descriptions, ingredients, and calorie information sync automatically. Inventory-aware logic can remove or adjust unavailable items. Location-specific changes and seasonal rotations are supported without creating new static design files for every menu change.
Outcome
Juice Press gained a faster, more accurate menu workflow. The old process — update Square, contact a designer, revise files, review, upload, and verify — became a single step: update Square and bitSHUTTLE updates the dynamic menu board. The team can rotate seasonal items, test new products, and make location-specific changes without the repetitive design, review, and publishing work that slowed them down before.
Ongoing support
Reality's Lab monitors the deployed screen network across Juice Press locations, providing proactive issue detection and support to keep menu boards live, accurate, and aligned with Square.
“By having a direct link between our Square system and our menu boards, there's one thing to update.”
